| A Muskoka granite floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace highlights the living room. The eat in kitchen features a bow and a garden style window and a log burning gas stove. Large floor to ceiling windows with two sets of sliding glass doors lead out to a sundeck that surrounds the front of the chalet providing lake views. The sundeck has a large table with chairs for eating and a propane gas bbq. A large ceiling fan is available for hot summer days. There are three bedrooms. The two downstairs bedrooms have trundle beds(two single beds) that with a lever can become one king size bed. The loft bedroom has a queen bed. The bunkie provides a fourth bedroom with a queen size futon and a loft sleeping area. A set of stairs leads off the sundeck and another set of stairs to the large v shaped dock. The sand beach on both sides of the dock and along the shoreline are for children to play. The ladder at the end of the dock gives easy access to the pebble beach. This beach becomes deep gradually. Chairs of different styles are on the sundeck, at the firepit and on the dock. A shade umbrella is provided. A paddleboat, canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks and lifejackets are available for use. Wood is stacked in the overhang storage for use at the firepit and fireplace. The close by town of Bala has a grocery store, shops, bakery, ice-cream parlour, lcbo. Another cottage on this property provides an opportunity for family, friends to vacation together but have their own cottage. Additional pictures are available. Weekends are not available in July and August. Spring and Fall rates available. Your own boat can be launched at the Public Boat Ramp. Arrival time is 2pm, departure time is 1pm. |
