| Located approximately 1 1/2 hrs from Toronto between two of the most interesting locks on the Severn; Big Chute and Swift Rapids, this is truly a very lovely retreat. The Severn offers great boating, swimming and fishing. There are 2 restaurants, a pizza and icecream parlour and a convenience store with LCBO within 5 min by car or boat. There are also 2 local marinas with gas and boat rentals. Coldwater is a 20 min drive. This spacious dog friendly cottage offers a games room with a peg pool table, shuffle board, a pinball machine and big screen TV with blue ray player. There is also a screen room to relax and watch the boats go by. With 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths you are sure to be very comfortable. A beautiful kitchen with all the appliances etc you will need. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are also wood and propane fireplaces to cozy up to on cool nights and A/C for those warmer nights. For your cooking needs we provide a BBQ with propane and a fully equipped kitchen. For those interested in renting in the winter, our cottage is located just off the snowmobile trails and we are 30 min from Mount |
