Or bring your own with insurance, license, of course. There is an area which doubles as boat launch or kids' wading area with sandy bottom. Three bedroom updated cabin (new windows, doors, and flooring) in a peaceful natural wooded area sleeps 8 in your family comfortably. Many trees make it shaded and cool. Well equipped kitchen and good sized bathroom make it your home away from home. There is a large deck which looks down over bay, with bbq and patio furniture. Cottages are close by, to make for a friendly neighbourhood environment. 180 feet of shoreline to wander, or fish. Close to Young's Pt (9 km) or Burleigh Falls has Trading Post and Lovesick Cafe (5 km). Lakefield has 24 hr. Foodland about 15 km away, and Buckhorn has attractions,too like the Buckhorn Art Festival in August, Gallery on the Lake (open year round). Petroglyphs Park short drive away. Warsaw Caves. Peterborough 30 km. away(nearest hospital). Easy access from GTA via hwy 115, and hwy 28. Sorry, no pets, or smoking. Bring own linens, towels and enjoy your stay.
