There is no place we would rather be, than on Browning Island,Lake Muskoka in the summertime. This year family takes us away for the month of August, hence your opportunity to enjoy our little slice of heaven! Our cottage sits on a gently sloping breeze filled lot, surrounded by majestic trees. We face due west, at the southend of the island in a quiet bay. We have 350 feet of frontage,sun all day and a rare sand beach that is ideal for children and swimmers of all ages. There is a stone patio at the waters edge with Muskoka chairs for lounging--the ideal spot to enjoy the glorious sunsets! There is a brand new 50x45 foot cedar dock with two slips. There are horseshoes/pits,bocce,badminton and volleyball games, a treefort and a swing,waterskis and tubes, 2 kayaks and a canoe.
The cottage is a viceroy style cedar chalet, with cathedral ceilings in the kitchen,dining and great rooms. There is a stone fireplace, and a brand new kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances,including a dishwasher and wine fridge. There are three bedrooms all with wonderful beds and lovely linens: king in the master with doors overlooking the lake, queen in the second and a bunkroom that accommodates 5-7 children.The cottage interior has been completely renovated. There is also a bunkie for 2-3 more kids.Our ideal dates are August 5th thru September 2nd. please email any requests for further information. |
