Lovely cottage in the heart of Port Carling, situated
on a generous lot on Indian River. Access to Lake
Muskoka and through the lock to Rosseau and Joe.
Main
floor facing the river has a bank of floor to ceiling
glass with doors opening on to huge deck with
barbecue. Cottage is spacious with three levels,
with king-size bed on main floor
and three-piece bath, two piece bath on upper level
and separate one bedroom bunkie with two-piece
bathroom and double bed. Main cottage sleeps 6 or
more, bunkie sleeps
two (double bed). Parking for four. Kitchen fully
equipped including dishwasher. Not a sandy beach
but perfectly swimmable. You can walk to shops
and restaurants, boat to the
IGA or liquor store in five minutes and or just find
peace and quiet in the backyard, or on the dock
watching the river go by. Tie up your boat at dock
(about 50-ft long) or explore the lakes slowly by
kayak. Best Muskoka golf courses just minutes'
drive away.
Mandatory speed limit keeps boat traffic slow on
Indian River.
