This unique cottage located 20 minutes North of Hunstville, was once run as resort, called Sprucehaven Lodge. Sprucehaven was built in the 1920's. When run as Sprucehaven Lodge, the now main cottage was the the main lodge building where the guests gathered for their evenings. There are stories about Fred Astaire and Errol Flynn singing and dancing around the Piano (which is still here!) while staying at Sprucehaven in the 30's or 40's.

Sprucehaven today consists of one 2 bedroom main cottage, one 2 bedroom self-contained cabin as well as a newly added 14 by 12 1 bedroom bunkie. It offers 267 feet of waterfront on this private 1 Acre point of land with pristine view of beautiful Bartlett/Rainy Lake. Rustic log construction and cathedral ceilings will take you back to yesteryear when a cottage was a cottage. Open concept for entertaining and a great 8x33` verandah overlooking the beach for water lovers. Good privacy. Hard to find many of these types of properties!!!

We will rent the Main Cottage by itself but not the bunkie.
